Meagan Burris is a newborn, baby and family photographer serving Indianapolis, IN and all of Central Indiana. Meagan’s studio is located in New Palestine, IN and her photography clients come to visit her from all over the state.
In January I ventured down to meet Bianca with Axsys Design and spent two days with her for newborn mentoring! Choosing to hire Bianca to teach me has already proven to be one of the best decisions I've made for my business. I went into mentoring knowing my work was 'good', but I've known I needing something or someone to help take me to the next level and make it great. With Bianca (and also great info from her husband, Jason!) I'm on the right path towards achieving that and have already seen such an awesome change in my work and my business! She was so open in every aspect of not only teaching her posing flows, tips and tricks, but also every in and out of running a newborn photography studio.
One of the huge changes I've made already is with my equipment! For the past year I've used the top of the line posing + backdrop system. While I loved what I was previously using, now I've changed my system to the Newborn Cloud that Bianca and her husband created. It has seriously simplified my workflow and works incredibly for my space, I took the leap to make the huge change and I'm never looking back!
I'm so thankful I was able to take the trip down to Georgia (even though there were a few travel bumps in the road! ;) ) and bring back all the knowledge I learned to little old New Palestine, IN. If anyone, beginner or if you've been in the business for awhile, is looking for a mentorship opportunity I cannot recommend Bianca enough! Not only do you get what you learn in the nearly two days you're with her, but her online mentoring group you get to become a part of is a HUGE bonus! And if you're considering it but have questions, feel free to ask me! I'm happy to tell you all the reasons why you'll never regret it.
A million thanks, Bianca! <3
