If you're like 99% of the population, most (if not all) of the photos you take are taken on your cell phone. I'll be the first to admit that the iPhone takes some pretty dang good pictures and I take lots of shots on my phone too. It's just so easy.
I have a few photo apps I use regularly and love, so I thought you might enjoy them too. Here we go ...
There are lots of options for editing with the PicTapGo app, especially if you like a more matte look to your images. I love that I can create custom looks and save them in the "my style" portion of the app, so I can create some consistency with my images.
Chatbooks is a photo printing site, but one really cool thing they offer is auto-album-printing. All you have to do is connect an Instagram account (you can make a separate one just for this purpose if you want!) and then every time you upload 60 images, if you've connected a credit card to the app, Chatbooks will print and send you an album of those 60 images. Such a great way to get all those cute photos printed and not just sitting on your phone.
I love this one so much that I have a referral code. If you decide to use Chatbooks, use the code MEAGANBURRIS-KYEE to get your first book free!
If you like your images to have a more moody look, you'll love this one. It's not free, it's $2.99, but it's totally worth it in my opinion. With Mextures, you'll get a unique look to your images that you just can't get with other apps. I'm a big fan!
4. Lightroom Mobile
Lightroom Mobile gives you the ultimate control over your images. You can make so many edits with LR, your mind might just be blown. Crop, straighten, lighten, color correct - you can do it all with LR and that's why I love it. It's great for low-light situations, or times when you need some serious editing to make your photo look good. Unfortunately, you can't use LR without paying Adobe for the Photography Plan which is $9.99/month, but if you're going to be editing your photos a lot (and printing them) I highly recommend this one!
Chatbooks is great for albums, but I love FreePrints for actual prints I can put into frames or send to family. This app is exactly what it says it is - free prints. You can get 1,000 free prints a year and all you have to do is pay shipping. Now, I'm not saying you should ever use this to print professional photos, but for those cell phone photos you adore, I say, go for it!
